Treating Sunburn
10:28 AMHello, everyone! I wanted to take some time to talk about treating our skin properly. And the biggest worry during the summer when it comes to skin is getting sunburnt.
Feeling the sun against your skin after being cooped up in your 8 x 8 cubicle is the most magical feeling in the world. But, if you're out in the sun during the prime UV times: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., you can easily get burned. Instead of waiting to see if you get burned, be sure you're getting the protection and treatment you need to prevent that nasty peeling.
If your ride home from the beach isn't ready to head on home, don't wait around to see how burnt you can get... PUT ON SUNSCREEN. I know it's not the best feeling in the world, but sunscreen is absolutely necessary. Consistently apply throughout the day in case you're wiping or sweating off the product. You can get an amazing sun protection cream on our site.
Not everyone knows that they're getting burned until much later. Sometimes, the redness, itchiness, and the burning sensation won't set in until a few hours later or maybe even the day after. If you start seeing the slightest redness on your skin, get out of the sun! Take a cool shower, moisturize, hydrate, and let your skin recover before you take another day out on the sand or by the pool.
Please take care of your skin and watch out for the sun! Being kissed by the sun is sweet, but it has some consequences if you stay out too long. For more information on the harms and benefits of the sun, please refer to a dermatologist!
